Keep Flying: Time & Tide

After an already extensive half year of touring, the guys in Keep Flying landed back home at Amityville Music Hall (AMH).

At 198 Broadway, the address of a local and beloved haunt, as well as the title of a hit song off their last EP Daylight, Keep Flying took the stage like they owned the place. And they just might.

The very special combination that is KF comprises of a band full of energy, sincerity, and unrelenting DIY ethics.

Since 2016, the punk band with horns (not ska) has impacted the lives of thousands of fans in tried and true fashion. The message at their show is simple: community, self love, and following your dreams, no matter what it takes. A testament of which is the palpable positivity which ripples through their audience, the ignition of empathy and collectivity, - the strength of community. A truth you have to experience for yourself, but a dedication of which is evident in the endless slides of band tattoos featured on their  Instagram.

Time & Tide is a true reflection of the band’s growth - shining through are the guy’s individual styles. Reflective in the song’s sharp witted lyrics - a narrative style unpredictable, rhyming, catchy and relateable. The brass section does their part to emphasis, encouraging us to dance through the tough staff all of that, percussion (drums and bass?) leading the way in punctuating it all

But all of that is pushed forward by a band who is not afraid to go against the tide.

Pick up a copy of their first full-length album, Time & Tide and something sweet to go along with it (their merch game hyperlink is strong). Time & Tide is available for streaming on all the major platforms, including Bandcamp.
